Please be aware that delivery of your beautiful handmade Plymouth chocolates may take longer than the projected times especially at busy times such as Christmas. Ensure you place your order with plenty of time to spare - we can always write a message on the box asking the recipient not to open it until a certain date, better early than late.
Local Hand Delivery within 4km of Plymouth PL35SD
A flat rate of just £1.50 will be charged for hand deliveries within 5km of PL35SD. If you are within this area, this rate will automatically appear during the checkout process when you get to the delivery options. (Derriford Hospital is exempt - although it's within 4km parcels must be sent via the Royal Mail).
Not available October November & December.
Standard Rate 2nd Class Signed for (3-5 days) £3.95
A rate of £3.95 per address will be charged for 2nd Class Signed for delivery.
(UK main land only).
They will be sent via the Royal Mail and will require a signature upon delivery.
Normally within 3/5 working days from dispatch - (next working day).
If you need them sooner please email us to see if we can help - perhaps collection.
1st Class Royal Mail Signed for (2-3 days) £4.45
A rate of £4.45 per address will be charged for 1st Class Signed for delivery. They will be sent via the Royal Mail and will require a signature upon delivery . UK main land only. 2 -3 days from dispatch (next working day).
Express Delivery £9.95.
Next Working Day from dispatch - (If you order before 2pm, orders will be dispatched the same day. After 2pm they will be dispatched the next working day (in conjunction with Royal Mail delivery dates).
Please note, we only dispatch next day orders Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 2pm on Thursdays for next day delivery will NOT be received until the following Monday. UK Mainland only.
If your gift is urgent please contact us to arrange a guaranteed Saturday delivery - this is a premium service from the Royal Mail with an additional cost.
Free Collection:
Free collection is available from 115 PL3 5SD - you can select a convenient time and date during the check out process.
Signature required for deliveries:
We use the Royal Mail 'Signed For' delivery service. Someone MUST be there to sign for the parcel otherwise it will be returned to a local depot. A calling card will be left and it is your responsibility to re-book a delivery date. If you do not contact them within 14 days the parcel will be returned to us. In the event of a failed delivery, Loco About Cocoa can not issue refunds or replacements. We will re-send your order but we will have to charge you the standard postage rate.
Allergens
We follow strict production processes which are EHO approved for our Handmade Chocolates. All of our chocolate gifts are made in the same facility and therefore there is a small risk of cross contamination. Chocolates may contain traces of NUTS & other ALLERGENS. If you are unsure please contact Adrian for more information.
If for any reason there is a problem with an order that has been received by Loco About Cocoa you will be contacted prior to dispatch. Payment is taken at the time of order and any cancellations will take approximately 5 days to be refunded.
Disclaimer: Loco About Cocoa will ensure your chocolates are quality checked before postage, they will be packed in sturdy postal boxes and dispatched within 24 hours of ordering. The only part of your order we have no control over is the time it takes for the courier service to deliver them.
Please allow extra time during the busy periods such as Christmas, rather your chocolates arrive a week early than a week late. If they arrive late we can not issue a refund. All deliveries must be signed for, the Royal mail will not leave them in a save place so please ensure someone is there to receive them.
